The ask —

We're looking for a Senior Digital Designer to support the launch of our new brand. The role involves designing for our website, marketing emails, and social assets. We have a brand style guide in place.

What actually happened —

Brandless: “We need product images.”
Me: “What do you mean?”
Brandless: “We have no images of any of our products. You've been an on-set Art Director before, right?”
Me: “Yes? Wait, aren’t you launching in four months?”
Brandless: “Oh, good! We have a photographer starting tomorrow. Let me show you our ‘space.’”

In collaboration with the Creative Director and key marketing stakeholders, I quickly established photography and video guidelines, created a comprehensive shot list for the entire digital ecosystem, and built an in-house photography department— all in just a few days, no exaggeration. I covered all the bases, from sourcing props to hand-making surfaces (until we could rent).

I hired models, managed on-set stylists, a chef, and a lighting crew, and successfully captured all 200 Brandless products, including bundle shots, on-figure imagery, and video content. This was completed in under four months, with all digital assets launch-ready for the big day.

Skills I brought to the table: Art Direction, Video & Photo Guidelines, Digital Asset Creation, Visual Design, Video Editing and Leadership
